Throw Me Away!

When I was a little girl and I was naughty, my dad would say to me, "Leslie, what am I going to do with you?" And I would always answer in my little sing song voice, "Frow me away!"

Well, I never actually got thrown away, but I do distinctly rembember my dad holding me over the garbage can one time (I'm sure he was only kidding all you CPS workers out there!). But the other day when our new yard waste container was delivered, these three kids all got thrown away. Just as I was shaking my head to their request to climb in the can, Kurt said, "Okay!" and popped them all into the can. Then he ran them all over the street and the driveway. They had a lot of fun. But today when I was moving my can the wheel fell off. Hmm, I guess these cans weren't made for four wheeling with 150 lbs of kid in them!

Cooper is walking all over the place now. Every time we go outside he wants to walk around the driveway (mostly he wants to cross the street to visit the neighbor's cats) or push one of the dolly strollers around. He is so cute. His size 12 month pants are still huge on him. Hopefully he starts growing one of these days! He's still only about 18 pounds (in about the 2nd percentile for weight) and I don't remember the height, but I believe he may be vertically challenged. But what he lacks in size, he makes up for in personality. He's a little sweetie!

My kids have the fondest memory of their cousin throwing them in the garbage when we were at Lake Blaine a couple years ago. At least they had fun before the wheel busted off.
