FINALLY! Cabinet locks

Thank you Dixon for childproofing my kitchen today. I am so sick of coming into the kitchen and finding the rice cooker, crock pot, pots and pans and cookie sheets all over the kitchen floor. I am really tired of Cooper eating the garbage and dumping out the recycling. But most of all, I'm tired of Cooper using the cleaning toothbrush in ways other than cleaning around the edges of the sink...eeeew. So a big thank you to my wonderful husband for sacrificing five minutes of his precious time to install these wonderful devices to my cabinet doors!

I didn't childproof with Lacy, but with Rose we were home all the time during those days when she was getting into everything, and I just couldn't take it anymore. Yea for cabinet locks! Now, mine don't even work anymore, but they were enough of a deterrent that the girls don't really get into the cabinets anymore.

Nice, Cooper eating the cleaning toothbrush! Funny what Carolyn said about hers not working anymore but the girls are just used to not being able to get into stuff. The other day one of the kitchen gates was not up but Aaron still stood at the doorway with his arms up waiting to be lifted over when it was dinner time.

So we are REAL high class at my house. We use pony tail holders as are cabinet door locks. Hey, it works for now!

Those cabinet locks must have been invented by a mom. A million dollar idea! :)
