Regan had her hula group Christmas party tonight. These two sweet ladies and several men provide music and instruction every week for quite a large group of children. Their goal is to share their culture from Hawaii and other Polynesian islands with the children. Regan started up with them in September and absolutely loves it. She's getting proficient with the poi balls. When she first started, she moved like a cheerleader. Now she's kind of getting the hula flow down. I love watching her. Most of the kids are Polynesian, but one of the teachers (Auntie Minerva) is Regan's primary teacher, so there are also three kids from our ward. Regan and the two girls on her right.
Here they are doing the hukilau. Love it. Doesn't Regan look authentic with her silver leggings and plaid Converse. Ha.

Here they are doing the Piapa. It's the Hawaiian alphabet song. It's very cute. Sorry for the horrible picture, but it's the best my stupid phone could do!

They had a little get together tonight with a potluck and a gift exchange for the kids. It was really nice. Regan was in absolute heaven.
