It's beginning to feel a bit like Christmas

Mondays are a bit hectic for me because I teach piano after school until dinner time, and then we do our family night after dinner. Tonight we didn't eat dinner until 7, so once again the kids are up late. We finally pulled the decorations out of the closet under the stairs (fondly referred to as Harry Potter's bedroom), and got some of them put out.

Then we walked over to Grandma and Grandpa's house for some cookie decorating, and we played our 2nd Christmas game of the season. It was Apples to Apples Disney version and it was a big hit! Kurt and Grandpa even liked it. We finished up with some singing around the piano (sorry Carolyn!), and then came home! Then the kids each had a turn to talk with Dix and we had prayers with him over the phone. The kids enjoyed that.

Two kids were asleep by 9:45 tonight which was a slight improvement. I can do this!

Well we sang lots of Christmas songs tonight too, plus we got to see Santa, so I'm not feeling all sad about missing out on singing tonight. Sounds like a fun night!
