Here was the question:
Leala can write a 500 word essay in an hour. If she writes an essay in 10 minutes, approximately how many words do you think the essay contains?
Porter's answer:
Well, it really depends on Leala's vocabulary, and the vocab of the essay. For example, if I had to write an essay on the way that you splice genes it would probably take longer than an essay explaining how to tell time. So that really renders this entire question pointless. But, assuming that it was all easy vocabulary, like the same as the 500 word essay, then it would be 83 words long, again assuming that it was easy vocab.
