Mother's Day

To celebrate Mother’s Day, and my Mom’s favorite mother’s day present ever (my brother Mark!), we had a get together. The men cooked a fabulous dinner of salmon, baked potatoes and sweet potatoes, cauliflower and salad. It was delicious.

After dinner I went a little crazy with the camera. Don't you just LOVE digital cameras? Here are a few of our silly shenanigans:

We did it!

These are the same classic poses we did in our silly wedding shot almost 17 years ago! Besides a few gray hairs, a few wrinkles and a few inches, we are identical to that shot! I'll have to find it and scan it one of these days!

Umm, don't know exactly what we're doing here. Obviously neither does Mark.

And here is one of the two bald eagles that we saw while we were outside. Some developers recently cut down the woods right by our house to build houses, and we think they took out an Eagle's nest. So so sad.


All in all it was a fun day with great food and great company! Can't wait for the next get together!
