My good friend Kathy was in Washington for the weekend and we got to see her for a couple of hours on Sunday afternoon. We had a great time and packed as much as we could into the little time we had together. We drove around town a little bit and then stopped by the chapel just as our old ward was getting out so she could say hi to a lot of people that she hadn't seen in several years. Donna didn't know she was coming so she was very excited to see Kathy.
I don't know what it is, but something about being together makes us act a little...silly sometimes.
We had to leave Donna behind, but got a couple more pictures just as we were getting ready to say goodbye to Kathy.
And here we go, getting silly again. We have a similar picture of the three of us as I was moving from Washington to Arizona about six or seven years ago.
And of course we had to try some stunts. Seriously, if they have church ball, they for sure need us for church cheerleaders, wouldn't you say? We have some SERIOUSLY good form.
Kathy, glad you fit us in your schedule this weekend. We sure miss you!

It was so great to be together. I wish Donna could have gone with us but she had a wild couple of days and needed her Sunday siesta.

It was sooooo good to see you. I'm so glad I came down & that Sandy picked me up... even if it was only for a couple of hours.

Looks like some fun times with good friends! I'm sure it's fun to be back with your friends after being in AZ for so long. We miss ya!
