A Year in Review: Regan Edition

Regan is 8 today, so I've been looking through her pictures, trying to sum up her year of being 7 into a few pictures. So here goes:
Spending time with the family is one of her favorite things. Kurt even brought Marilyn to this dinner, so it made it even more special.
I took the kids to the dollar store for prizes after violin lessons every week. Regan decided on these pink "reading glasses." I told her she wasn't really supposed to wear them, they're just for fun. But she snuck them to school and wore them the entire day.
Speaking of school, here we are on our way to the first day of school.
Regan is a fish! Here she is at Long Lake!
She is also a stud muffin. This was one of our first walks after we moved to Arizona.
Regan, Lacy and Turner are all very close.
Regan loves playing with Anna. She misses her!
Regan started taking Hula classes in September. She loved it and was finally starting to get the hang of it. (Well, not the poi balls so much, but the basic dance moves)
Regan did her first triathlon when she was 7!
She has no fear. How could she with five brothers? Here she is holding an albino Burmese Python at the Reptile Man show.
Fun on the lake at Zion's Camp. We camped with the Blumes, and then the ward joined us when they saw how much fun we were having!
Regan enjoyed taking tap dance last year. She certainly had the energy for it!
She has also become very good on her violin. But most importantly, she loves playing it!
A neighborhood Easter egg hunt. Notice all the rain boots. That was in Washington.
With her buddy Ole at the Hands on Museum. I'm not quite sure about her expression, but I think Ole might be a little afraid.
We took a cool trip to Mt St Helens. This is one of the lava tubes. It was really fun!
And this is inside Ape Caves.
Regan did a little drama camp last summer and got to play the part of Alice in a little play they did. She loved it! It was so fun watching her on stage. The girl has no fear.
She loves animals. This was the petting zoo at the Point Defiance Zoo in Tacoma.
Regan loves to climb trees. Here she is up a tree at Tumwater Falls Park.
We went to the beach last spring with the Blumes. Even though it was pretty cold, Regan was in the water all the time!

We love Regan and can't wait to see what "8" will bring this year!
