In front of our house in Washington
At the zoo, brushing the goats! Usually we are exhausted before we even make it to the petting zoo, so this was the first that we had ever even been to that area! So fun!
Landon at the zoo with his favorite animals, the sea otters!
Grandpa and Landon arguing about who spilled the paint while they were painting our house before our move.
Landon puking after going on a ride at the fair. He is just like his daddy! Yes, people thought I was a bad mom for taking a picture instead of comforting him, but it was worth it. :)
Landon and the gang cleaning up garbage on the way home from school for a scout service project.
Landon really matured a lot this year... This is what happens when you fall asleep at Long Lake and you have big brothers.
Landon participated in his first triathlon this year. He loved it and is hooked!
Landon's class took their field trip to the zoo this year. Matthew and Landon loved feeding the birds.
We were invited to the beach by our good friends the Blumes. We had beautiful spring weather and the kids were able to swim, and enjoy themselves! It was a beautiful home and a beautiful beach! So much fun!
We had a great time at our ward campout last spring. The boys loved the archery range. They actually got pretty good at it!
This is a little park at Tumwater Falls. We spent an afternoon there last summer when Ally and Phil were visiting. It is one of our favorite places in Olympia.
Landon continues to excel on the violin. This picture makes us laugh because the kids think it looks like Regan is the bride and Landon is the groom. This was taken at a retirement home where Barbara did her recital last spring.
Our neighborhood does an Easter egg hunt every year in the park. We will miss it this year! It was fun for our kids to be out there with their neighbors. This is the oldest age group. They are allowed to do it until they're 12.
One of our favorite places in Washington: Burfoot Park. On this trip, we were showing our favorite park to my Aunt Ally and Uncle Phil. It was a good time.
Leg wrestling with the Uncles is always a good time.
And of course, karaoke with the family. We rock.
A Cub Scout trip to the Capitol. Notice Melinda and Wyatt posing in the background.
A fabulous trip to Ape Caves! We had so much fun! Landon had heard about Ape Caves and kept begging for us to take him. We finally had a day that we could go and it was one of the best day trips we have ever had! We had a lot of fun in the caves, and we spent hours crawling around the smaller lava tubes nearby.
What a great year we have had! Even though we didn't take any "real" vacations, we were able to have a lot of fun and enjoy the beautiful state of Washington! I am looking forward to next March to see the fun things that Landon enjoyed while he was 11!
