While we were already out, we went grocery shopping. We hurried home to unload, then left again to pick up the violinists from day camp and off to the school for the lunch program. After lunch we went to Grandma and Grandpas because Grandpa's sister Marilyn and her husband Jake were visiting for the afternoon. We hadn't seen them in several years. I think I was pregnant with Cooper the last time we saw them! We had a nice visit. Here are Cooper and Rose in Grandma and Grandpa's backyard.

Meanwhile, Hayden left for swim team, and then I had to drive Landon over for swim team an hour later. Dix left to go pick Landon up (Hayden was on bike), and I took the rest of the kids plus Lacy to the free entertainment in the park. Dix and Landon met us there just as it was starting and shared our delicious picnic dinner with us. Dix made tuna sandwiches. Those are Landon's absolute favorites. He said a special thank you to me at the park for fixing the tuna. I had to laugh. He thought it was such a treat! Tonight's show was a magician. It was pretty dorky, but Turner thought it was absolutely hilarious! They waited in line for about half an hour to get their faces painted.

Cooper fell asleep on the way home, and even stayed asleep while I put a diaper on him! Miracle of miracles! Carolyn stopped by to pick Lacy up, and then Dix put the rest of the kids to bed while I went over to my mom's and sewed up Regan's 4th of July skirt. We finished hers and we got Rose's about half done.
Tomorrow is Dad's 67 mile bike ride. I think I'm going to do about 50 miles with him since my legs are no longer killing me.
