Cooper!!!

Being the mom of six very active children, I thought that I had experienced it all. When Cooper came along, we decided that Heavenly Father had sent him to us because we deserved a sweet, compliant, calm child after the other five. Don't get me wrong, they're not all hellions or anything, but there's never a dull moment! Well, I think I was wrong about Cooper. He is the test at the end of the semester to see what I've learned and how I can apply it.

Cooper has been potty training. He has stayed dry for about a week now! Well, HE has stayed dry. But the rest of the house? Not so much! He is trained to keep his undies dry, but his choices of places to pee aren't exactly a mom's dream come true. Yesterday he felt the urge in my room, so he peed on my comforter. This morning, he did an impressive seven foot stream cascading across the room and ending on a pile of toys. In my desperation, I have put him back in diapers, just wanting to forget the whole thing and start over again later. But alas, he takes the diaper off and pees wherever the heck he pleases. Today he has done a little better than yesterday, but he just thinks he is so awesome to be able to pee on whatever. Maybe I'm just jealous, I don't know. But honestly, I'm getting really tired of this! He's keeping me on my toes this week!

And speaking of toes, while I was cleaning up a wall, he came strutting in, so proud of his handiwork. He found the nail polish in my bathroom and decided to get pretty. Not too bad of a job, should I be worried?

How frustrating! Have you tried bribery?

Oh, I'm so sorry! Potty training can be stressful anyway! Whenever the kids are doing something very frustrating, Brian always calls them "The Lords little blessing"....sounds like you have a little blessing in your home too!

It's one of those moments were you have to say "he won't be doing this when he's 10". And then pray that's true :-}

I feel your pain. I swear that is a boy thing, they are so proud that they can just pee wherever. Good luck though!
I am impressed at his nail painting skills. Nice work!
