Excerpt from Elder Goodhue's Journal
Tonight the Olivers invited us over for dinner again. Last time the meal was great! I added about 1/4 cup of Sri Racha to everything and mmm, mmm it was good. Tonight was no different. Brother Oliver made some delicious California Rolls. With a little wasabi, it hit the spot. Elder Lockhart wouldn't even try it. Doesn't he know that real missionaries eat sushi? Next came the Puerto Rican rice and beans. I definitely filled up on that. And again, lots of hot sauce. I love that stuff. I barely had room for the shark. In fact, I was so full that I couldn't even eat my piece of cherry pie that Sister Oliver's brother brought over. I let Lockhart eat mine. Then when we were done eating he sat them all down and gave them a very long spiritual message. I woke up after awhile when they knelt down for the prayer. All those good rice and beans really knocked me out. I hope the Olivers sign up again to have us for dinner soon. They sure know how to cook!
