- You can pack way more of them in the freezer! They only take half the space of a "conventional" loaf of bread.
- They have less surface area, therefore you don't need as much butter! What a calorie savings that is! I feel thinner already!
- The kids won't devour them as quickly, so you won't have to bake again the next day! In fact, you may never have to bake again!
- They're great for hiking, camping, or trips across the country in a covered wagon. Who needs hard-tack when you have homemade brick? I mean bread...
- Speaking of bricks, you could use them to build your own house! Just apply a little mortar, and stack them like Legos! And then of course, in times of famine, you have your food storage!
So the next time your batch of bread doesn't turn out all tall and fluffy, just remember that it's not all bad!

Very Funny! Way to be an optimist.
Ha! I see you've sampled my homemade bread.
Well at least you make your own, you are one step ahead of me (unless you count banana bread). I'm betting you rarely get a bad batch of bread though, I've had yours before! :)
Do you know what happened? Did you forget the yeast? Was it too cold?
It's a good science experiment for the kiddos!
