5.12. That is how many inches of rain we got yesterday. No wonder I decided to stay inside all day! The schools are delayed by two hours today because of flooding in some of the bus routes. We've had about 9 inches of rain so far this month--and it's only the 8th. Crazy, huh? I feel like we all need to grow gills and flippers! We're enjoying the late start day today. I took the opportunity to go running without pushing a stroller, and the big boys enjoyed a little extra sleep. It's 9:45 and I haven't seen Porter yet this morning! School starts in an hour, and kindergarten is cancelled so I think I'll take the little kids to go to something fun (and dry) this morning.
