Primary Program

Today was the best Sunday of the year, aka the Primary Program.  It's weird only having two kids in primary!  It was pretty normal.  Until....a small group, about 8 kids, was singing a song.  The girl sitting next to Cooper was in that group, so she started walking up, and Cooper thought it was his turn to do his part, so he started following!  He got up to the microphone and realized quickly that something else entirely was going on, and he didn't quite know what to do.  He stood there awkwardly, then took a step back, considering high-tailing it back to his seat.  But the intro music started playing, so he just stood there.  Finally, he committed to it...he was now part of the musical number, and he sang it with gusto!  Luckily Turner was in it, so Cooper was pretty familiar with the song.  Oh, Regan and I were laughing so hard, watching all of his expressions.  When we talked about it with him afterwards, he was laughing along with us!  He said that our interpretation of his expressions was exactly right!
