That's what Cooper has. Every day he requests the same books.
Click Clack Moo, Cows That Type and
Goodnight Gorilla. We don't watch TV at our house, so when the kids are tired of playing with their toys, we curl up on the couch, and read...the same two books (actually three, if you count Turner's current fave,
Chicka Chicka Boom Boom). Seriously, I have these three books memorized. It could definitely be worse. I've read a lot of bad books in my day. And those three are actually very cleverly written and I enjoy reading them. I especially love looking at their faces when we get to certain parts. Like in the gorilla book, the page when the zookeeper's wife discovers that her bedroom is full of animals and her eyes are huge. The boys mimic her face and it's HILARIOUS. And Turner keeps telling me that in a year he will be "loose-tooth T" (that's from Chicka Chicka Boom Boom). And Cooper says, "Click, clack, moo" every time we get to that part in the book.
Totally fun.
I love reading to my kids.
