The Miracle of our Bodies
Cooper has had a runny nose for quite some time now. Months, it seems. There have been a few days here and there when it was dried up, but it is just a given that his nose is always runny. Well, today, the feel of the river of snot running down and hitting the lip dam, and then running over it and forming a waterfall intrigued him. So, he reached up to see what was causing that tickling sensation. Unfortunately for him, he wasn't prepared for the slick landing, and his finger skated right into his nostril. He was quite pleased with his discovery. And even more pleased that he was getting attention from mom. As I was trying to distract and keep the ole' hand away from the nostrils, he was becoming more and more excited at his discovery. And I once again thought of the miracle of the body. Isn't it amazing that no matter how big our fingers get, our nostrils always grow at the same rate? Truly miraculous, if you ask me.

Mine fit just fine! Dix
You're the only person I know who can get away with blogging about the first time her kids picks his nose...and with such poetry.
Now that he knows it fits, good luck getting him to take his finger out of his nose.
Mackenzie is still fascinated by that same discovery. You make it sound so cute though.
You have a way with words, you always keep me laughing & smiling! Thanks! :)
