Cooper is 18 months. It's my favorite age! They're so cute. Learning to talk and getting into everything. It's fun to see their little brains working. Cooper understands pretty much everything we say and he follows directions really well. He just barely started climbing up onto the chairs and table (he had the skills to do it months ago, just didn't feel like it, I guess!), and is really a lot more mellow than my last toddler! He has FINALLY reached 20 pounds and is allowed to sit forward in his carseat.
He got a cute little pair of crocs yesterday (thanks Chanda!) and wants to wear them all the time. They're so cute on him and he's so cute in them! Only problem is that he kicks them off in the carseat and the shopping cart, etc. So I have to really pay attention or we're going to end up with only one shoe!
One thing that he does that ISN'T so cute is that he poops in the tub. Every. Single. Time. It's getting old. My regular routine is to throw the three youngest kids in the tub together, that way Regan can keep an eye on the two little boys while they play. I let them play for a while, get them out and then let Regan have "an alone bath." It worked up until a couple of weeks ago when the bath suddenly became an instant enema for Cooper. So now, he gets in with an inch or two of water, I wash him quickly, then get him out, then clean and refill (or top off if he didn't poop) for the other kids. Hope this phase passes quickly. But not the rest of the 18 month stuff. Just the bath pooping.

I hate the bath pooping. My girls both went through that, too. It totally grosses me out. You really should think about a potty chair. I know you think they're gross, but they're a lot less gross than having to sanitize the tub every time he takes a bath (if he gets the point at least!).
Either that or a fish net.
Bath pooping doesn't sound too pleasant.
I love that phase also, we have a few 18 month olds in the nursery and they are so funny.
