Way back when...Easter 2011

I just found these Easter pictures. Easter was a quiet affair for us this year. It was just us. While Dix and I were cooking, the big kids hid the easter eggs for the little kids. They decided to do it inside. I didn't participate in the egg hunt at all, so I've been laughing, looking at these pictures.









And I tried a new recipe for dessert. No one actually liked it. I won't be making that again. But at least I was redeemed by making my famous garlic mashed potatoes.

And then of course, the Easter candy got all eaten up.
It was our first holiday away from the family. We survived it! Bring on the next one!
