Stomach Flu

Landon has been complaining of a stomach ache all day. I figured it was nothing, like it usually is when he complains of a stomach ache. Until about 12:15 am, when I was nice and toasty under my covers, snoozing away. I jumped awake when Dix said, "Someone's puking!" Of course he didn't make it to the bathroom, or even in one place on the floor. It was aaaaaaallllllllll ttttthhhhheeee wwwwwaaaaayyyyy dddddoooooowwwwwwnnnnn tttttthhhhhhheeeeeee hhhhhhhahaaaaaaaalllllllllllllllll. And no, he doesn't have the room closest to the bathroom. So as we were cleaning it up, and getting Landon's pajamas changed and putting him back to bed, he says, very sincerely, "I'm sorry to cause you so much trouble." So sweet.

Then he's laying in bed, watching me work my way closer to his door, then into his room, still scrubbing away, and I'm dry-heaving every few seconds or so when he chimes in, "It wasn't much fun to make, either."

I guess I should stop whining. At least I'm not the one throwing up. And let's keep our fingers crossed that I won't. And his five siblings won't start doing it either. Yuck.

Yuck. So sorry. Puking is my least favorite part of parenting so far.

Ew! I'm so sorry! That's the worst.

That is cute that he could still have a sense of humor after all that.

I hate when that happens! I have a couple that have fabulous aims and always make it to the bowl or toilet and a couple that ALWAYS miss!
