And he's off!

Another transfer has passed for Hayden!  I guess you could say that Porter was his trainer this time, in his six weeks of training to be a normal person again.  I use the word "normal" very loosely here.  Especially when attached to the word "again."  Haha.  The boys worked every day this week, and came home dirty, stinky and smelly, so I know they earned their money!  They brought home loads of prepared food from work this week (breakfast burritos, containers with rice and chicken, etc).

Turner earned his Arrow of Light in Cub Scouts.

We went camping!  We had an awesome sing along of our family faves including Bohemian Rhapsody and One Day More. we got stuck in a traffic jam when we were traveling uphill and our van started overheating and our AC went out. We had so much fun hanging out with each other and our ward family.  Porter, Brodie and Hayden filled pretty much every moment with music. Kids slept the whole way home in the hot hot van.

Andrew Deppe had his missionary farewell.  Porter was teary saying goodbye.  This is getting real.  All these boys are leaving soon!

Dixon, Porter and Hayden left right after Andrew's farewell to drive up to BYU.  I was a little teary after our final family cheer.

First stop, Grandma Hoho's in St George.  Then on to school.  I'm sad I couldn't go with them.   Really sad.  Linda Yates had Sees chocolates in a cooler in her trunk to cheer me up.  Love her so much.

(Does anyone else think she kind of looks like a unicorn here?)

Hayden left little love notes all over the house for us to find after he left.  They are sweet and they each have a scripture or two.  Mine was in my purse, Regan's was on the music stand behind all the music, Cooper's was taped up above his bed, Turner's was in a Garfield book.  Landon hasn't found his yet.  Brady's (the dog) was taped to the sliding glass door. lol

A girl in our ward gave a talk yesterday.  She is wise beyond her years.  She talked about Seminary and how it has changed her life.  She really made me think about if I would've sacrificed to try to get myself a ride to seminary if my parents didn't get me there.  Or if my kids would have perfect attendance if they didn't have a mom that is a little crazy.  lol.  She is an amazing girl and I'm so grateful that she is one of Regan's heroes.

We sang in the ward choir yesterday.  Since the three men of the family were gone, Cooper sat alone in the bench while the rest of us (Landon, Regan, Turner and I) all sang.  I was afraid he was going to be sad and lonely.  But he climbed under the bench and took selfies with my phone the whole time.  hahahaha

Turner insisted on singing Christmas songs after church.  He loves to sing "Angels we Have Heard on High."  It is his favorite.

Cooper lost a tooth!  He tested the tooth fairy to see if she was real by putting his tooth on his dresser instead of under his pillow.  He said that if she couldn't find it that he would know she wasn't real.  Luckily Regan pulled through for us and took care of it on her own.  That girl is my fave.

We got our family pictures back.  Even though it is so not fun, they turned out amazing.  Even with us as the subjects!  Hahaha.  We got some really silly ones, but lots of great ones too.

And that was our week!
