Recent Life

We live right on the edge of the desert.  The kids like to go out there and hike around.  We don't do it often enough.

One of the many, many, many rocks they brought home with us.  I think he's kinda cute.
Turner loves, loves, loves the cello.  He practices every single day, seven days a week.  He still makes me cringe on occasion, but he is learning very quickly.  He will finish Suzuki volume 1 next month.
Grandma and Grandpa had a week long visit with us.  While they were here, we had dinner at the German restaurant.  We went on November 9th, to celebrate the 24th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.
Turner's artwork that was displayed at an art exhibit at church.
 And Regan's art

A hike up Thunderbird mountain to admire the new Phoenix temple, which should be in operation within a year.
Turner always wants me to take pictures of his creations before he takes them apart.  My boys mostly play with Legos, put they love their old Duplos too!
Turner's project for school.  He had to disguise a turkey so that it wouldn't get eaten for Thanksgiving.  It was supposed to be disguised with something that reflects our family's hobbies or talents.  He nailed it.
Grandma and Grandpa got us a pass to the Phoenix Zoo for an early Christmas present.  See that monkey right above Regan's head?
Grandpa always has to have a few projects when he's here to keep him out of trouble.  He changed out the shower head in the kids' bathroom, among other things.
