Fiddler on the Roof

I almost didn't post this because I'm still a little (read:  a lot) upset about what happened during this performance.  See Regan?  That's her, over on the right, playing the cello.  She was looking forward to this song because 1) She LOVES the music from Fiddler on the Roof and 2) She had a long solo in it that she practiced for a lot at home and felt really prepared for.  And she did GREAT!  So why am I upset?  For some reason, the conductor decided to mike the first violin section.  And they were playing harmony parts the whole time.  (Who mikes a section during a concert anyway?  It was so weird!!!) So you will have to listen really hard to hear Regan playing her solo.  But she did a fabulous job and I'm really proud of her.

Plus I'm really proud of me for not marching up on stage and turning off the microphone during the performance.  Seriously.  I almost did.  If we didn't have another concert to get to directly after this one, I probably would have.  But I knew that being disruptive in a concert would make us even later.  So in my quest for punctuality, I controlled myself.  I'm not sure if I should say "Sorry" or "You're welcome" at this point.  But in any case, I give you...FIDDLER ON THE ROOF!!
